About us
A House Clearance Company Based in Your Postcode
NCM Recycling & Waste Solutions is a family-run waste and clearance company working out of the LS28 area — the same postcode district as Farsley, Pudsey, Stanningley and Calverley. We are not a national call centre passing your job to whoever answers; the person who prices your clearance is the person who turns up.
Who we are
Over ten years of shifting other people's problems
NCM has been working in waste removal and recycling for more than ten years, covering Leeds and West Yorkshire. What started as general rubbish removal has become a lot more house clearance work — because that is what people around here keep needing, and because it is the part of the job that actually matters to somebody.
A house clearance is rarely just a house clearance. It is usually a bereavement, a house sale that has to complete, a landlord losing money on an empty property, or somebody finally dealing with thirty years of a garage they have been avoiding. We would rather do that job properly and slowly than churn through three of them badly.
We run our own vans and our own team. Nothing is subcontracted out, which is why we can tell you honestly on the phone whether we can hit your date instead of promising and hoping.
- Our own team and vans — no subcontractors, no surprises on the day
- Fully insured — for the work and for your property
- Fixed pricing — quoted before we start, not totted up afterwards
- Licensed disposal only — official sites, every single load
Credentials
Everything here can be checked
Anyone can put a logo on a van. These are the details you can independently verify before you let a stranger empty your house.
Environment Agency registered
Registration CBDU644159 — upper tier carrier, broker and dealer, valid until 17 June 2029. Searchable on the Environment Agency public register.
A registered company
NCM Recycling and Waste Solutions Limited, registered in England & Wales, company number 14251650. You are dealing with a real, filed, traceable business.
Independently reviewed
Rated 5.0 out of 5 from 8 reviews on TrustATrader, member number TT33051 — reviews we cannot edit or remove.
Why this matters: under the UK duty of care, you remain responsible for your waste even after somebody else drives away with it. If an unlicensed carrier fly-tips your sofa, the fine can land on you. Always ask for a carrier registration number — from us or from anybody else.
Environmental responsibility
Cleaner today, greener tomorrow
The company tagline is not decoration. Everything we collect is sorted back at base rather than tipped as one mixed load — metal, timber, cardboard, green waste and electricals are separated out and sent to the right facility.
Furniture and household goods still in usable condition are passed on for reuse rather than crushed. Fridges, freezers and mattresses go to the specific licensed facilities they legally require. Only what genuinely cannot be recycled or reused goes to general disposal.
We only ever tip at official, licensed sites — which sounds like a low bar, and is exactly why fly-tipping is such a problem across Leeds. We would rather be the boring, documented option.

Customer reviews
Wonderful service from first contact right through to the job being finished. Genuinely lovely lads, completely professional, and the work was excellent. I could not recommend them more highly.
Punctual, polite and very professional throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend NCM to anyone and I will be using them again before long.
Used NCM to shift a load of junk after clearing out the garden and shed. Really quick, great price, and we are booking them again for our house move.
